ASUS Wins Three International Sustainability Awards: CDP, SEAL, and ASRA

These include Leadership Level ratings in both Climate Change and Water Security from the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), the SEAL Award for Sustainable Service, and four honors from the Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards (ASRA). These achievements underscore the pioneering position ASUS has in the green transition.
ASUS upholds a pragmatic and fundamental approach, leveraging digitized data, scientific management practices, and core competencies, to drive sustainable value creation, carbon management, climate action, and environmental governance.

Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)

For the past two consecutive years, ASUS has achieved a Leadership Level rating for Climate Change from the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP). Additionally, ASUS received Leadership Level recognition for Water Security in its first year of evalsuation, demonstrating excellence in environmental governance. In terms of climate action, ASUS is committed to following science-based emissions reduction targets and has obtained SBTi validation. In 2024, the company’s global operations achieved RE50 in renewable energy usage, and the carbon intensity of key suppliers decreased by 24% compared to the baseline year. Regarding water resource management, ASUS leverages global water risk assessment tools to identify high-risk areas within its operations and value chain, as well as strengthening water resource management among its suppliers. ASUS also conducts comprehensive natural capital risk assessments and implements improvements to enhance corporate resilience.

ASUS Carbon Data Management Platform wins SEAL Award for Sustainable Service

The self-developed ASUS Carbon Data Management Platform has won the SEAL Award for Sustainable Service, recognizing its innovative application of data-driven carbon management. The platform proactively complies with international regulatory requirements, such as ISO 14064-1, ISO 14067, and the GHG Protocol. Supporting over 900 suppliers and subsidiaries in carbon footprint tracking, it has digitalized 344 carbon data management processes, improving verification efficiency by 80%, eliminating millions of manual entries, and reducing guidance time by 70%. Through its data-driven sustainability strategy, ASUS has successfully optimized its management processes, stayed ahead of global sustainability trends, and strengthened resilience across its suppliers and the entire ASUS group.

Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards (ASRA)

At the Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards (ASRA), ASUS received four prestigious accolades for its 2023 Sustainability Report and two thematic reports—the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) Report and the Natural Impact Assessment Report—highlighting its robust sustainability management and action. These include Gold for Best Climate Report, Gold for Best Environmental Impact Report, Silver for Best Materiality Reporting, and Bronze for Best Sustainability Report. These awards further demonstrate the ASUS commitment to transparency and stakeholder engagement, reinforcing the company’s leadership in sustainability within the technology industry.
